Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky shared a love of art: as members of The Blue Rider, they made a huge contribution to classical modernism in the early 20th century. They also loved each other. But as Kandinsky achieved fame, admiration, recognition, and reaped its financial rewards, Münter found him increasingly difficult to deal with.
